Sitting in Bars with Cake is a beautiful coming-of-age film about friendship amongst women. Starring Yara Shahid and Odessa Azion, the film released at a time where audiences were looking for a cathartic escape. I led the full strategy and execution of this campaign, overseeing 360 development and collaborating with cross-functional partners to bring this film to audiences globally. We leaned into local tactics to host cake-inspired events to foster community in line with themes of the film while simultaneously crafting a robust social and digital campaign utilizing social editorial partners to drive conversation.
